Alyssa brought a bottle of red wine! Sparkling Shiras!!! I've never tried red wine compressed with gas and it tasted alright. The wine is a little too dry but the sparkling makes it more interesting!

X'mas lunch!!!

Dolphina and I went for grocery on Christmas Eve at Dickson. Although the right bus didn't show up (we waited for 90 minutes....), we made it home safe^_^!

ANyway, It's good to see Alyssa again after the Marketing final exam! She's still very into Japanese dramas and even started to rent dvd to watch! I asked her if she felt boring to stay alone in academy house, she denied and said she was accompanied by all the downloaded videos and shows.....I just downloaded PPlive, the online TV software. I should have watched a lot of shows too. But....sigh, three jobs have kept me busy, and all I want to do when I get back to home is to lie down and do nothing.

Ummm...Everything exists trade-off. I have no time to think too much about life and feelings, but get all this money rolling to my bank account every week in return.

15 is his record. Dolphina counted it one day and tell me in pride. But why could i never see he does 15 times of begging.....!#%^%*&#...I do believe it!!!He's so talented in getting along with human. Getting your attension, and your sympathy and love.~~~*

Me and Dax

TOo much I've talked about the dog. About myself... well I'm working on Boxing day, like the whole day from 9am to 6pm.
I know it sounds silly for most people, but thinking of all the shopping that's gonna be done in Sydney in the following week, I don't worry too much about missing the discount on Boxing.

I did go out and have a look during my break with Dolphina. We went to Guess but didn't buy anything coz....we have to line up to get in and pay!!!!Can someone believe this? the queue to pay looks at least half an hour wait! So even I did want to buy a shirt with goldne print, it doesn't really worth the time.

Time is money. That's what I learnt from part-time jobs. A three-hour shift today worths AU$100. I'm glad I choose to work.

Dolphina and Dax

She is the most independent girl from China I've ever known. Other than two jobs that she is doing, she studies acturial studies in ANU but can also spend a lot of time watching Japanese dramas and TV shows. She cooks well too! Honestly, she cooked all the X'mas dishes yesterday! We had :

Chinese wombok with rice noodle
sliced potato and capsicum
scrumble egg with tomato

~~~should have taken some pictures on food! But all the foods are in my stomach way before I thought of taking photos....lol!

Tina and Linmu are Daxiong's parents. They bought him some Christmas decorate clothings before they left for China. Finally Christmas came and Mr. XIong was wearing that all day!!

Somethings about Daxiong that we found out over the past three weeks :

1. He's fraid of water! He always put a long face and kinda shaking when he is showered.

2. He's afraid of height. Maybe that's why he was standing still like this as he was put on the top of the washing machine~~~haha evil me and Dolphina!!!

THis is a stupid burnt from the fried station at Kingsleys about a week ago. I was too tired to lift up the fried basket properly and so accident happened....

At your angle

THere's big knowledge to command when taking pet's photos. Learning from some internet knowledge site, I tried to bend down, or even lie on the ground. Daxiong looks bigger but more obviously captured when I was at the same level as he was^_^

How does it feel to look up to people all the time? For Daxiong, it must be quite lonely to be the only dog in the house. Ummm...I must convince TIna and Linmu to get another dog to accompany each other. It is important!!!Look at Daxiong, he doesn't bark! All acoustics he got is the purring sound in the throught when he was trying the talk to the puppy next door. But it doesn't sounds any meaning to any dog I think.

Do dogs have different language to start with? Do dogs communicate with the same code of barking or they were just claiming their territory in whatever language? Daxiong is a dog brings up in the CHinese environment in Australia, what language has he developed to command?

My wallpaper

It's so far my favourate photo of Daxiong's. I wasn't intension to pretend this is where I live, though I wish our doorgate is as beautifully decorated with flowers and plant as you see here. This is the attached hut just behind our house. Guess it was built for garage purpose but the landlord somehow decided to change it into a smaller house so he can earn more rent.

Anyway it's been cloudy for three days. It's cloudy early in the morning like before 9:00 am. But the light starts to shine upon the earth when the city wakes up bit by bit. THe light isn't any strong, yet bright enough to shape a sharp and clear image of the sight. Most importantly, I'm lucky to have morning off for three days to see this.

Summer vacation is as necessary as school days. It is the break of a year to see the beauty of life as well as enjoying the gathering with family, which are something we can hardly learn from books and lectures. I wasn't aware of this for a whole bloody month but only work my ass off day and night.....shame@@!

I set the white balance of my camaera to 'cloudy' yesterday to see if the image quality changes.....guess I'm not professional enough to tell (=_=)
Daxiong pee on my bed last night. I wouldn't have noticed that if he wasn't showing that guilt face with the downtail! What a kid! Just like Linmu was saying that he would revange if he wasn't taken outside or got ignored.
I didn't shout at him though. I didn't talk to him the whole night. 'coz I've been telling him so many times not to pee at home, yet he pee a lot on my bed and destroy my whole bag of cosmetic cotton.....
Guess he knows I was angry at him too much to talk, he lick my toe to wake me up this morning. Not as aggresive as he would do before, but careful and look at me at all time. I mean, who can refuse that look? So I wake up at 6:30 am.
Daxiong makes me wake up this early in the morning ON HOLIDAY! Guess I love him a lot...~*

bug monster

Like Linmu said, dogs are different from each other. And it is the naughtiness and curiosity about Daxiong that makes him special.

One interesting thing about him is curiosity. As in his bravery to try eating anything that is alive. The other day when I was cleaning my room, there's some nameless bug crawling along the wall cornor. Before I said Euuuu~, Daxiong jumped to it and try to bite it. To be honest, I'm concern about his health as well as enjoying eatching him 'playhing' with that little poor creature....XD! This manner is definitely not encouraging if I can recognize the bug and know if is safe to eat it (Thai people eat various of bugs.....so hahaha...no surprise), otherwise all I can do is stop him from doing this from time to time.....

Who knows what kind of thing has he been eating.....= =haha~good on ya dXiong~

Not my territory

Out neighbour has a puppy who barks against Daxiong everyday. EVERYDAY. No matter we keep daxiong in the rear yard or just walk him past the neighbour, they bark.

But they never meet each other nose by nose, that puppy was kept indoor all the time.

This photos shows Daxiong attracted by the puppy next door and rush toward it. He has no idea that it is not his territory and he really shouldn't just step on their land.

But I know.

I know what I can do and cannot do. Human wisdom makes me a tied creature, I don't bark and do not occupy other's land in random. But am I really a peaceful pigeon, or a sleeping lion? Living with the crowd is not preferred comparing to claiming own territory at any time ever, even when I cry the worst at night.

Maybe because I know I need to be strong in other's territory, defending for my voice of life!

Leon and Qi....my best pals in Canberra!!!But damn they both went back to CHina and left me here alone!!!! How I wish they could have stayed and we could mess around all summer~~~~**~**~anyway it's late to say it!

Leon has this seamud face musk. He claimed it was useful to fight the pimples so we tried right after the final in his house.

It was painful!!!!!

Gosh it hurts a lot all over my face!!! Hope something was working....anyway, the touch was very clean and soft after the masking~~*Feedback: all beauty builds on sacrafices. 

da look

This is taken in the rear yard. Everybody, including the dog, just enjoyed the weather before yesterday. Due to the bush fire, it went high up to 36 celsius degree yesterday, but dropped to 13 this morning. No wonder AJ was complaining like 'Hello~Canberra@@!!!'

Missing da days when it was warm and dry. Nice weather makes everything easy to deal with yeh. Easy to go out, easy to stay up late, easy to ride speedy bike, easy to say hi and bye...Nothing much to worry about, so I could just give that look when no one's watching. THat's enjoying. No matter how bad things have been, or how sad things eventually was, there has been so much to memorize and learn. So we didn't lose. Sad things passed and you grow, looking back with that look, it's all that simple.

He likes here not only because there're magpie for him to chase all over the place, I guess it feels good to step on the mud for him too^_^! I brought him up to the slope one time to see whether he likes it or not, it turns out to be a nightmare to him. He just jumped off right away!!! Haha~~~heightphobia?kkk..

The missing kitty

One of the friendly neighbours have this naughty cat, who wanders around all day seeking for food. She looks so similar to the one my cousin has in Taipei!! Anyway, I was excited to watch a fight between the cat and the dog when I knew the dog was coming for temporary stay, but Dolphina, my housemate, told me there was a unfair fight at the first day arrival. It was totally a scare to the cat, and she just never show up again...D:

 

Puppy n me

I tried to walk him in the morning and jog in the afternoon. It was a huge exercice for both of us honestly! haha__even though I've been riding to and fro work (15 min), speed on the bare foot is another story really.

But what happen this morning scares me. We ran into a man with a huge dog. I was about to just say hi and walked away But Daxiong anoyingly upset the dog by rushing across the junction and smell all over it....It was really really dangerous!!!!It was morning peak hour at 9:00 am and speeding cars wouldn't notice this small creature at all!!!He was lucky enough to stay alive. Plus the big dog could have biten Dx to dead! What was he thinking ....

I walk him twice a day...he spends a lot of time playing in the yard besides the walks. I was just talking to mum on the phone last night, saying how lucky he is to run about freely. Look at the dogs in Taipei, cramming in the small apartment and only go out at the weekend optimically....the jail in the urban to all pets@@!!! 

DaXiong's Diary ~

I promise Tina n Linmu that I'm gonna take photos of DaXiong everyday and update everything to them (Trust me, they are soooo worried about him even after Daxiong was sent to my house), so here it comes^____^'!

In the past 4 days, I walked him out in the morning everyday. It's a huge exercise and joy of him. I tried to walk him without the string and it controls well! 'I run free!!!'-that's what he would have said~*. The major point is he listens to me! He always come back or at most kept me waiting for like 2 seconds if he's peepeeing.

My housemate-Dolphina-loves puppy too. She walks him in the afternoon. I must say, this is one exciting and happy puppy living with us.

By the way, we washed him last night coz he smells terribly! He shit in the morning but some just stuck on his butt.....anyway, have to cut a bit of his fur at the bottom coz the whole shit thing goes really hard and it stinks bad!!!!!

p.s. He is aquaphobia!!!

I have a puppy!!!

Tina and MuLin are co-workersof mine at Kingsley's. I wasn't very close to them before Tina and I began to chat about while working the other day. It was when I found she was also a Gemini. Actively weired and passively considerate. And it was good! people of other signs would not know how happy a Gemini can be when she found a companion as we were born to laugh out loud but preserve the thinking bit to ourselves. Meeting other Gemini matches the key of the lock of the heart.
Anyway, what was I saying? Ah...the dog! Well Tina and Mulin are going back to China for two months or so, and we agree to leave him to me. It's just awsome!!I love dogs! So this temporary responsibility allows me to play with a puppy ~XD while it's almost impossible for an international student to keep a pet here^_^!!

ANyway~many loves to this puppy-DaXiong!
